Live music nights in the streets of the centre of Mahón begin!
Summer has arrived in Menorca and with it comes an essential yearly event in the centre of Mahón. Tomorrow the live music nights begin in the main streets of Mahón.
So, if you are looking for something to do in Mahón during the summer evenings, this is a plan you can’t miss.
From the 27th of June until the 29th of August, every Tuesday, the main streets of Mahón will be filled with live music, from 9pm to 11.30pm. These evenings fill the streets in the historic centre of the city with great atmosphere. The combination of live music and shopping night (with shops open until midnight) has been one of the keys to the success of this project, which has been held since 2011. When night falls and the heat is less intense, it is the ideal time to go out for a stroll and have a drink in the centre of Mahón, listen to good music and take advantage of the occasion to do some shopping.
“Nits de música al carrer” is a free musical event which this year celebrates its thirteenth edition and in which musical performances by various artists and musical groups from the island take place on the terraces of the bars and commercial premises in the historic centre. Specifically, the square where our head office is located, Plaça Reial, is one of the areas where the performances take place.
